Apple Teacher Portfolio is a free professional learning program designed to support educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. This self-paced course allows teachers to build skills and an understanding of Apple tools on both Mac and iPad devices. Each phase of lesson planning as teachers build their Apple Teacher Portfolio offers a unique opportunity to design more meaningful learning experiences with iPad and Mac. When teachers build an Apple Teacher Portfolio, they’re encouraged to integrate creativity into the lessons they teach every day to help students activate prior knowledge, explore topics more deeply, and apply their learning to the world around them.

Teachers will access the course through the Apple Teacher Learning Center and will use Apple’s Everyone Can Create guides to plan, teach and reflect on lessons in each of the following modules: Activate, Explore and Apply. Once teachers have finished all lessons and earned a badge for each (9 badges total), they will be able to submit a portfolio of lesson examples and earn Apple Teacher Portfolio recognition.

This course will be facilitated by Traci Piltz, an Apple Distinguished Educator.
