This three-hour course includes the general information about the law for Indian Education, the seven Essential Understanding, tribes, and reservations in Montana. Participants will explore lesson plans in their middle school content areas using resources that have been examined and approved. We will also uncover the nature of cultural pedagogies. Lastly, we will discuss and share resources and ideas for creating classrooms that welcome ALL students' perspectives and home cultures.
