Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all students based on scientific insights into how humans learn. This mico-credential focuses on instructional planning with variability in mind to make lessons that meet all learners where they are at. The outcome should be to reduce barriers to learning so that all students have ways to access, build, and internalize knowledge and skills. In this course, you will look at practices you regularly use in your classes and decipher how to make them more universally friendly while annotating a unit of study.
*Note: This micro-credential requires a unit of study annotation that will be revised to include UDL.
