This course is for elementary and middle school teachers to learn about trauma-informed practices they can implement in their classroom. We will cover the following topics: an overview of what causes trauma; behavioral principles to help us shift to a trauma-informed lens; and strategies to implement in your classroom to support students with trauma. Additionally we will cover second hand trauma and how to take care of yourself.
