This day-long training equips our middle school mentors with the skills and insights to mentor our new teachers. We will explore the differences between andragogy and pedagogy, strategies for sharing strategies of working with learners in adolescent development, and ways to build supportive relationships that foster success for both mentors and mentees. The training will utilize frameworks like the GROWTH and Jim Knight Impact cycles.
