This three-hour course includes the general information about the law for Indian Educaiton, the seven Essential Understandings, tribes and reservations in Montana. Participants will explore lesson plans in their high school content areas using resources that have been examined and approved. We will aslo uncover the nature of cultural pedagogies. Lastly, we will discuss and share resources and ideas for creating classrooms that welcome ALL students' perspectives and home cultures.
