Apple Teacher is a free professional learning program designed to support and celebrate educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. This course allows teachers to build skills and an understanding of Swift programming using Swift Playgrounds. Swift Playgrounds is a revolutionary app for iPad that makes learning Swift interactive and fun....Solve puzzles to master the basics using Swift - a powerful programming language created by Apple and used by thte pros to build today's most popular apps. Teachers will complete exercises in Swift Playgrounds and earn badges after the completion of each set of tasks. Once teachers have finished all Swift Playgrounds badges, they will receive a certificate of completion and Apple Teacher recognition.

In order to receive their Apple Teacher certification for Swift Playgrounds teachers need to complete all four badges in the Swift Playgrounds section of the Learning Center. These badges are:

• Swift Playgrounds App
• Coding Concepts
• Swift Code
• Coding in the Classroom
