MIDAS is our BPS system for tracking professional development. MIDAS is being used to improve
security and streamline the professional development process. Please be patient as we transition

PIR Trade Credit is sometimes referred to as “trade hours” or “MFPE trade”. Each
certified staff member is required to earn 18 hours of trade credit per contract year.
Step-Up Credit is used to move across the salary schedule on the
collectively bargained agreement.
- Be sure you get approval before paying for or starting any course.
As a certified educator in Montana, you need to recertify according to the guidelines set by the Office of Public Instruction.
