This is a course for West High Teachers who want to go deeper into their understanding of "Visible Larning", which is an approach designed by Dr. John Hattie who describes VL as "and enhanced role for teachers as they become evaluators of their own teaching". This is a book study on the Teacher Clarity Playbook written by Douglas Fisher, Nancy Frey, Olivia Amador, and Joseph Assof. Each week we will look at two different sections of the book and discuss our learning. Participants will be provided with a book from West High administration and will read two chapters prior to attending the session. We will also make connections from our visible learning strategy to the PLC framework.
